Windmill man = 風車男?

拜訪阿姆斯特丹最古老的風車（目前仍在運作），負責解說的大叔，繪聲繪影的講著百年前當地居民如何運用風車，聽說我是從台灣來的，他的玉口吐出一串我聽不懂的外文。想說自己離開英文國家也不過1年，英文退步這麼多嗎？不可能以為台灣也講荷蘭文吧？印象中的荷蘭人是粉國際化的，應該不會犯這種錯誤。看我反應不佳，他也就繼續講，過了一陣子，那串外文又出現了，我想我應該要澄清一下，難得到荷蘭，帯個謎團回去不好。風車大叔用粉慢的速度吐出”Fen cha nan”. 你是指在風車做事的人嗎? 大叔開心的說，對啊…我就是在風車做事的人，Windmill man，也就是你們說的風車男。喔…主啊….如果台灣有這個名詞，應該要算外來語吧…台灣的風力發電做的實在有點小糟

The Windmill man I met in Amsterdam. He’s so happy to know that I came from Taiwan. During the introduction of the mill history, his mouth came out with few foreign language words. “Fen cha nan”. I asked him to repeat it again and asked “do you mean the person who works at the windmill?” The happy man told me:” Yes. I’m the man who works at the windmill. Thus you can call me windmill man, which will be “Fen cha nan” in your language. Oh！my God. I thought he’s speaking in Dutch. Guess not just my English, my Mandarin ability gets worse as well.
